Tingtel is an Android mobile App that allows users to Buy, Sell, Transfer Airtime, fund Third-Party Wallet and settle Bills with Airtime.

Go to Google Playstore, Download Tingtel App and register with your preferred SIMs.
Create a username and password and Select the ‘AIRTIME SELL' tab and follow the prompts.

‍

You will need your Network Transfer PIN to successfully transfer your Airtime.

Here are the default PINs for the major Network providers:

-  MTN is 0000

-  Airtel is 1234

-  9mobile is 0000

-  Glo is 00000

Note: If you’ve changed your Network Transfer PIN and can’t remember it, you will need reach out to your Network provider to help reset it.

It is a unique number that Tingtel user can use to receive Airtime from another user on Tingtel. Tingtel ID can be use in place of phone Numbers. With Tingtel ID you don’t need to know the receiver’s Number and Network to share Airtime and your Number won’t be shown to the receiver as well.

1.   Simply dial*347*85# and you will receive a text with your Tingtel ID.

OR

1.   Log in to your App

2.   Select ‘Airtime QR’  

3.   Select the SIM you want to receive Airtime on and your Tingtel ID will be displayed at the bottom of your QR Code

1.   Log in to your App

2.   Select ‘Airtime Buy’

3.   Enter Receiver’s Phone Number, Name or Tingtel ID and press the ‘Continue’ button

4.   Enter the amount you want to buy and press ‘Continue’

5.   Select one of the listed payment methods to proceed

1.   Log in to your App

2.   Select ‘Airtime Sell’

3.   Enter your bank account details or someone else’s bank account details and press the ‘Continue’ button

4.   Select the ‘SIM’ you want to Sell Airtime from, enter the amount you want to sell, and press the ‘Sell’ button

5.  Enter your Network Transfer PIN and press the‘Sell’ button to complete your transaction

1.   Log in to your App

2.   Select ‘Airtime QR’

3.   Select the ‘SIM’ you want to send Airtime from

4.   Click on ‘Scan’ to scan another user’s Tingtel QRCode

5.   Enter the amount you want to transfer, press the ‘Transfer’ button to proceed

6.   Enter your Network Transfer PIN and press the ‘Transfer’ button to complete your transaction

1.   Log in to your App

2.   Select ‘Airtime Transfer’

3.   Enter the Receiver’s Name, Phone Number, or Tingtel ID in the search bar and press the ‘Continue’ button

4.   Select the ‘SIM’ you want to transfer from, enter the amount you want to transfer and press the ‘Transfer’ button to proceed

5.   Enter your Network Transfer PIN and press the ‘Transfer’ button to complete your transaction

1.   Log in to your App

2.   Select ‘Airtime QR’

3.   Select the ‘SIM’ you want to receive Airtime on and your QR Code will be displayed

4.   Click on ‘Share’ to share your QR Code with someone via your selected social media platform

To shop online with Airtime on Tingtel:

1.   Open your App

2.   Click on 'Airtime Sell'

3.   Enter the vendor's account details

4.   Select the 'SIM' you want to sell your Airtime from and enter amount

5.   Use 'Notes' to describe what the payment is meant for

6.   Press 'Transfer' and follow the prompts

Notes allows you to describe what the deposit is meant for, especially when crediting someone else's account.

You can now shop online with Airtime on Tingtel; convert your Airtime to Cash, input your vendor's account details, use 'Notes' to describe what the deposit is meant for and they get credited instantly.

Sending Airtime with Tingtel ID is almost the same as sending Airtime with Number the only difference is you enter the receiver’s Tingtel ID instead of the receiver’s Phone Number.

All Tingtel users have Tingtel ID and can locate it by opening their Tingtel App, click on 'Airtime QR' and their Tingtel ID will be displayed at the bottom of their QR Code. Non-Tingtel users or small phone users are to dial *347*85# and they will receive a text with their ID.

1.   Log in to your App

2.   Click on ‘My Activity’

3.   Select the transaction you would like to report

4.   Click on ‘Report a problem’

5.   Briefly explain your issue and click on ‘Send’

1.   Log in to your App

2.   Click on ‘My Activity’

3.   Select the transaction you would like to copy its ‘Reference Number’

4.   Long press and copy the transaction ‘Reference Number’

You can register up to four (4) SIM cards, but only the two SIMs on your phone can be active at a time.

Yes, you can. But the new number must be a phone number that is currently active on your phone. Follow the steps below to replace it:

1.   Log in to your App

2.   Click on the ‘Settings’ like button at the top

3.   Select ‘Manage SIMs’

4.   Click on the ‘+ sign’ button to register a phone number that is currently active on your phone

Open your App, click on ‘Forgot Passcode’ and follow the prompts.

1.   Log in to the Tingtel App

2.   Click on 'Settings' then locate 'Tingtel Bonus'

3.   Click on the referral bonus page and share your referral link
